Christmas is 4 days away!! I’ve been finishing up last minute shopping { such a procrastinator this year}, wrapping, started a new job on Monday and getting a few of my Christmas traditions in place so I thought it would be fun to share a few of them today!

*Go see one Christmas related show. Last weekend Greg and I went to see Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and I’m pretty sure we were the only one’s in the theater without kids hah it was cute but the Rockettes are my absolute favorite!

*For as long as I can remember, my mom has made cinnamon rolls Christmas morning after presents before my dad, Drew and I go to church.

*On Christmas day, we do a Yankee Swap with my mom’s side of the family. It gets pretty heated and some of the gifts are sooo random.

*On Christmas Eve, my cousin Hannah and I always make sugar cookies with my Grandma’s recipe with old fashion cookie cutters { they must be 50 years old} and then we watch Elf. I think we’ve been doing this for at least 15 years!

*My two aunts from my dad’s side come over every Christmas Eve for dinner and presents. Typically my mom cooks an amazing meal but this year since my parents will be be at the Patriot’s game, Chinese take out is happening and I’m so excited!  When we were little, my aunts would tuck us in to bed and read us The Polar Express.

*My mom still writes “from Santa” on every present, it’s really cute!

*Greg and I do little stockings for each other with a note about all the best memories from the past year, what we hope for the new year and how we could improve. They’re so great to look back on and an awesome reminder that life is made up of all the great little moments.

As for this outfit, I always have a hard time deciding between dressing up and a casual Christmas look with slippers since my family is really chill and casual.  Is anyone else the person in their family who is always too dressed up? But this year I plan to dress it up!

What are some of your Christmas traditions? I’d love to hear in the comments!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

xx, Tess
